Come to Our 2026 Banquet: Piping Plovers Galore!

Thursday, April 30 - 5:30–8:30 pm

Brickhouse Craft Burgers & Brews
500 Grant Street, De Pere, WI 54115

Our annual banquet is a fun evening featuring updates from the board of the Northeastern Wisconsin Bird Alliance, a guest presenter, silent auction, raffle, and the opportunity to meet other NEWBA members and supporters.

Celebrate 10 Years of Nesting Piping Plovers!

Jade Arneson from U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (& former NEWBA board member) and Tom Prestby from Audubon Great Lakes (& current NEWBA board member) will share the highlights of the successful nesting of Piping Plovers in lower Green Bay at the Cat Island Restoration Site over the last decade.

Steve Waller from the Laughing Whitefish Bird Alliance in Marquette will host a special edition live Piping Plover Jeopardy game for us! Come to play, to win, or just to watch. Either way, the game promises to be an interesting, challenging, and educational event.

Dinner will be a taco buffet with ground beef, chicken, fajita peppers & beans. Served with soft or hard shells, taco fixings, and a dessert. Cash bar is available.

Cost: $30/person or $15/student or child

We invite members and non-members!
